What it is
Bolt is a European ride-hailing, scooter, car-sharing and delivery app operating across Europe and Africa. The money here is not on consumer rides but on Bolt for Business, its corporate travel product, where a company books employee trips through one account with pooled billing and expense reports. You get paid for signing up companies, not riders.
The deal
Bolt pays a flat amount per company you bring in, not a share of what that company spends, and earnings are paid in EUR by default. Read the two Bolt routes separately, because they publish different ride thresholds. The Referral Program, aimed at individuals, pays the first EUR 150 once the company completes five rides, adds EUR 50 at fifteen rides, and adds a further EUR 150 once five referred companies are active. The Partner Program on PartnerStack, aimed at publishers and creators with a B2B audience, and the legal terms behind it, describe a flat EUR 150 per company after a single ride. The 90-day tracking window and the 60-day qualifying period both come from those legal terms. Either way the payment happens once per company and then stops.
Getting paid
Bolt does not pay you directly. It pays PartnerStack, which then pays you, so the withdrawal threshold, available currencies and timing are governed by your PartnerStack account rather than by Bolt. Bolt’s own terms hold the commission for 60 days from the start of the company’s subscription, and pay nothing if the company cancels inside that window or its fees cannot be collected.
The rules
You cannot bid on keywords containing Bolt brand terms in pay-per-click or cost-per-acquisition campaigns, and cannot register domains, subdomains or URLs using them. You cannot represent products that compete with Bolt for Business. On the referral side, the company you refer cannot be your current employer, has to sit inside a Bolt for Business service area, and has to complete the stated minimum rides before anything is owed. Bolt logos and marketing material are licensed only for promoting Bolt for Business.
