What it is

Fiverr is a marketplace for freelance services, from logo design and copywriting to video editing and development, sold as fixed-price packages. Buyers order directly rather than negotiating. The affiliate program is run in-house on Fiverr’s own dashboard and tracking links rather than through a network.

The deal

Commission is only ever paid on a referred person’s first ever Fiverr order. Clicks and registrations pay nothing, and neither does anyone who has bought on Fiverr before, however they found you. Two of the three plans pay a share of that first order rather than a fixed fee, so a large first purchase pays well while a cheap gig pays a couple of dollars; both are capped at $500 per acquisition. The year of revenue share on everything else that buyer spends is where the program compounds. You choose which plan each link runs on, and the vetted-freelancer tier pays close to three times the general marketplace rate on the same first order.

Getting paid

Payment is pull-based rather than automatic. You reach the balance floor, request payment from the 2nd of the month, then wait out a net-30 cycle. Where in the month you request genuinely matters — a first-half request is reviewed on the 24th and paid early the next month, a second-half request is reviewed on the 11th and paid mid-month. Wire transfer to a bank account is the only option; PayPal and Payoneer are not offered despite what directories often claim. Company accounts must upload their own invoice, private accounts get an auto-generated one.

The rules

Fiverr’s affiliate help pages publish no paid-search or self-referral rules. Fiverr sellers are explicitly invited to join, and are told to sign up with the same email as their seller account. The real constraint is structural rather than a rule: only genuinely first-time buyers generate anything, so audiences already familiar with Fiverr convert without paying you.
