What it is

Framer is a no-code website builder aimed at designers, with hosting, a CMS and AI site generation built in, sold on monthly and annual subscriptions. The affiliate side sits inside its creator program, alongside selling templates, plugins and components on the Framer Marketplace.

The deal

Half of the subscription is a strong rate, but it runs for twelve months per subscription and then stops, and stops sooner if the customer cancels. It is calculated on the final sale price after discounts, with tax and fees excluded. Framer reserves the right to change the percentage at any time, effective five days after it emails you. Refunds and cancellations are clawed back out of your next payment. Orders of more than ten products at once can be treated as high risk and voided. Framer runs this itself rather than through a network, and the same creator account also covers Marketplace sales and client handovers.

Getting paid

Framer pays in USD through Stripe once the accumulated unpaid balance passes US$200, and rolls anything smaller into the next month. Payments run monthly but settle promotions from two months earlier, so the first money lands a good while after the first sale. Payment also depends on Framer having actually collected the customer’s subscription fee.

The rules

The search rules are strict. You cannot place affiliate links on search advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Bing, cannot bid on Framer brand terms or misspellings of them, and must keep pages carrying your links below Framer’s own paid ads. Coupon and cashback placements are banned, and you cannot buy Framer through your own link to get a discount. No typo domains, no sites built to look like Framer’s own, no unsolicited email, and affiliates must be at least 16. Either side can terminate with 15 days’ notice.
