GetResponse

GetResponse is an email marketing and automation platform that also sells landing pages, webinars, courses and paid newsletters.

What it is

GetResponse is an email marketing and automation platform that also sells landing pages, webinars, courses and paid newsletters. It targets small businesses, marketers and creators, and it is priced below the enterprise tools it competes with.

The deal

This is a revenue share on everything a referral pays, running for a year from their first payment and then ending, so it is recurring but capped rather than lifetime. Everyone starts on the base rate and climbs two steps on sales volume inside a rolling twelve months, with the tier you reach carrying into the next calendar year. Most affiliates will sit on the entry rate, so read the headline top rate as a ceiling, not a starting point. The tracking window is long for this category, which helps for content that gets read well before anyone buys. Note that two sets of affiliate terms are live on the site: an older one describing a one-off bounty and a lower ongoing rate, and the current PartnerStack terms. The older document applies to affiliates who signed up before the switch, and the current one governs anyone joining now.

Getting paid

PartnerStack handles the money. A month’s commission is approved in your account in the first week of the following month and becomes withdrawable around the middle of it, so expect about a six-week lag between a customer’s payment and your access to the cash. GetResponse itself does not publish a payout minimum or the payment methods for this program; both are set by PartnerStack. Refunds are deducted from what you are owed, and suspected fraud can hold payment for months.

The rules

Paid advertising is the main constraint. You need written consent before promoting GetResponse through Google Ads or the major social ad platforms, and bidding on the brand name or its misspellings is banned outright. Purchases through your own link do not count, and neither do accounts created by your company, your employer or people connected to you. Applications are screened against your site, distribution channels and audience before you are approved, which takes about three days.
