What it is
iubenda generates privacy policies, cookie banners, consent records and terms and conditions for websites and apps. It is aimed at site owners, agencies and developers who need GDPR, ePrivacy, US state law and LGPD coverage without hiring a lawyer. Entry plans cost a few dollars a month and scale up to advanced and ultimate tiers.
The deal
The rate is published as a ceiling, not a fixed number, and iubenda sets individual rates during onboarding, so what you actually earn is negotiated. It pays only on a new customer’s first purchase, made inside the tracking window. Renewals, later upgrades and second purchases earn nothing, which matters because iubenda’s entry plans cost a few dollars a month and the headline percentage is applied to that first transaction only. Creators have a second route: iubenda will pay a flat fee for promotional content, sized to audience and engagement, which for a modest audience will often be worth more than the commission. Separately, iubenda runs a lower-rate self-serve referral program for existing users that also pays on first purchases and gives the referred person a discount; that is a different, smaller program, not this one.
Getting paid
iubenda publishes a timeline and little else. Orders go through validation before anything is released, and commission normally reaches you within six to eight weeks of the purchase. Payout thresholds, currency and payment method are not published on the affiliate page and are settled during onboarding.
The rules
Bidding on the iubenda brand name or its misspellings is off limits and negative keyword matching is required. You may not use iubenda.com or its regional domains as a display URL, put the brand into your own domain, or present your site so it could be taken for an official one. Ad copy that could be mistaken for an official iubenda ad needs approval first; direct linking is otherwise allowed without sign-off. Use the supplied assets unaltered.
