Kit

Email marketing built for creators, formerly ConvertKit. Pays 50% for a referral first year, then an ongoing cut that depends on how many customers you refer per year.

What it is

Kit — ConvertKit until the 2024 rebrand — is an email platform aimed squarely at creators: newsletters, automation sequences, landing pages, paid subscriptions. It’s the incumbent recommendation in the creator-education world, which cuts both ways for affiliates: high intent, but a crowded field of people promoting it.

The deal

50% on everything a referral pays in their first twelve months. After that, the ongoing rate depends on your volume over the trailing year — 10% at Bronze (10+ paying customers), 15% at Silver (50+), 20% at Gold (100+).

Read that structure carefully, because it’s unusual. The ongoing commission only applies while you hold at least Bronze status, and only to customers referred on or after 1 January 2024. Stop referring, drop below ten customers a year, and the residual income stops with it. It isn’t a lifetime commission in the sense MailerLite means it — it’s a retainer for staying active.

Getting paid

The program runs on PartnerStack, so payouts, thresholds and payment methods are handled there rather than by Kit. Kit’s own affiliate page doesn’t publish the cookie window, the minimum payout or the payout schedule, so those rows are left blank here rather than filled in from third-party guesses — check your PartnerStack dashboard for the terms that actually apply to your account.

Who it converts for

Course creators and educators, where the audience already expects an email tool and Kit is the default answer. Weakest against beehiiv for people whose newsletter is itself the business.
