What it is
LearnWorlds is a hosted platform for building and selling online courses, bundling a site builder, an interactive video player, assessments and checkout. Its customers are independent course creators, training companies and businesses running internal academies. Plans are sold as monthly or annual subscriptions.
The deal
Two official LearnWorlds pages disagree on the rate. The program page advertises a figure prefixed with “up to”, while the binding terms and conditions fix a lower number for direct referrals and apply that same number to renewals and to returning customers it can still identify. Treat the terms figure as what you are actually promised and the marketing figure as a ceiling you would have to negotiate towards. The commission is a share of net sales revenue rather than list price. It continues every month the referred customer stays subscribed and stops from the next billing cycle if they cancel. The terms also carry a shorter 60-day window for re-crediting a customer you referred earlier who comes back, which is a different thing from the 90-day click window on the program page. If you are already a LearnWorlds subscriber yourself, part of your commission is issued as account credit up to the value of your own subscription fees before any cash is sent.
Getting paid
Payouts land on a fixed date each month rather than rolling, and a sale is not payable until it has cleared the refund window, so expect roughly a month between a signup and money you can actually draw. You also need a three-figure balance before anything is released. The program page names three payout routes while the terms and conditions name only PayPal, so confirm which applies to you before relying on the others. Commission can be reclaimed if a sale is refunded later, and anything outstanding is forfeited if LearnWorlds terminates you for breach.
The rules
You cannot refer yourself, and you cannot refer companies you own or hold an interest in. You are limited to one affiliate account. Bidding on LearnWorlds brand keywords or misspellings in paid search needs prior approval, and you may never use a LearnWorlds URL as the display URL in an ad or direct-link and redirect to their site from one. Coupons, discount codes, cashback and other purchase incentives also require approval first. Banned outright: cookie stuffing, iframe-based tracking, link cloaking to hide traffic sources, blackhat SEO and spam link building, unsolicited email, and traffic from paid-to-click, banner exchange, pop-up or pop-under sources. Your domain and company name cannot contain the LearnWorlds mark or anything confusingly similar. Applications are reviewed and you are told the outcome within ten business days.
