What it is

n8n is a workflow automation tool for wiring together apps, APIs and AI models through a visual node editor, with the option to drop in custom code where the nodes run out. It can be self-hosted for free or run as a managed cloud service. Its users are mainly developers, technical operations people and automation consultants building AI agents and internal integrations.

The deal

The rate is applied to n8n’s net earnings on a subscription rather than the sticker price, and because n8n charges tax-inclusive prices, an identical plan nets a slightly different amount depending on where the customer is based. Only n8n Cloud qualifies. The self-hosted Community edition is free and earns you nothing, and Enterprise is outside the program, so a heavily technical audience that self-hosts by reflex will convert far worse than the headline rate suggests. Earnings stop at the end of the first year even if the customer stays on for longer.

Getting paid

PayPal is the only route, so you need an account open before you can be paid at all. Payouts run once a month and only once your balance has cleared the threshold, which means small earners roll over month after month until enough accumulates. If you take the payout in a currency other than euros, PayPal sets the exchange rate.

The rules

Paid advertising is banned outright, not just brand bidding. n8n states that any kind of paid ad campaign run as part of your affiliate activity will get you removed from the program. The remaining rules are open-ended rather than itemised: n8n asks you to use the link only in ways that benefit potential customers and its community, and reserves the right to close your account for anything it considers misleading or damaging to the brand. Only n8n Cloud subscriptions are eligible.
