What it is

Notion is a workspace app that combines notes, documents, databases and project tracking in a single tool. Teams use it as a wiki and project hub; individuals use it for personal organisation. It has a large community of template creators and educators around it.

The deal

Two payments come from each referral rather than one. A flat bounty lands when a referred signup activates, and on top of that you take a share of everything that account spends across its first year. Only brand-new workspaces count, and only if they upgrade to a paid Plus or Business plan. Attribution is last-click, so your link has to be the final touch before the user signs up. The window to convert is unusually long at six months, which suits slow-burn content like tutorials and template libraries. If the customer buys extra seats later in that first year, each purchase generates a further reward. Working against you: if the account downgrades to free or takes a refund within its first two months, Notion can claw the reward back or deduct it from later commissions. Note that the program is currently closed and not accepting new affiliates, so the terms describe what existing partners earn rather than something you can join today.

Getting paid

The program runs on PartnerStack, and tracking, dashboards and cash-out all happen there. Notion publishes no payout threshold, no payment schedule and no list of payment methods. Those are set inside PartnerStack once an affiliate is approved, rather than stated by Notion.

The rules

Self-referrals are not allowed, and Notion is explicit that the program is not a way to discount your own account. Promotions must be FTC compliant and make the paid relationship obvious to your audience. Participation is governed by Notion’s Marketing Program Participant Terms plus its Program Resource Guide and any program policies issued later. Nothing is published about paid search or brand keyword bidding.
