What it is

Omnisend is an email and SMS marketing platform built specifically for ecommerce, with deep hooks into Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. It competes for the same shops as Klaviyo and Mailchimp, and it says it powers over 150,000 brands.

The deal

You earn a fifth of what your referral pays, every month, but the meter stops at two years. The customer keeps paying after that and you stop earning, so this is recurring rather than lifetime, and the published wording is explicit about the cap. The rate is flat with no volume ladder, so a large affiliate earns the same percentage as a first-time one. The attribution window is two months rather than the usual one, which matters for a product people trial before upgrading, and someone who starts on the free plan still counts when they later convert. Email marketing agencies are pushed to a separate agency partner program instead of this one.

Getting paid

Impact handles tracking, reporting and payment, and you choose bank transfer or PayPal inside it. Omnisend pays about six weeks after the close of the month it collected the revenue, so your first payment lands roughly two months behind the sale. Small balances are held rather than paid and carried into the following month until they clear the threshold. Everything is paid in US dollars, so non-US affiliates absorb the conversion.

The rules

You cannot bid on Omnisend’s name or trademark variations as paid search keywords, and you cannot register domains built on the brand. An account you own is not an eligible referral, so self-signups earn nothing. Anyone who is already a customer, or who was in a sales conversation with Omnisend in the previous ninety days, is excluded, and the referral has to register within the attribution window to count at all. Applications are reviewed and declines come without detailed feedback, though you can reapply later.
