PandaDoc

PandaDoc is document automation software — proposals, quotes, contracts and e-signatures — sold mostly to sales teams at small and mid-sized companies.

What it is

PandaDoc is document automation software — proposals, quotes, contracts and e-signatures — sold mostly to sales teams at small and mid-sized companies. Plans are per-seat subscriptions, so a referral is a business rather than an individual. The affiliate track sits alongside separate reseller and integration partner programs, which pay on entirely different terms.

The deal

You earn a share of what your referrals actually pay, and only for their first year — after twelve months from the click, the account stops earning entirely. The rate is not fixed. It steps up with how much total revenue all your referrals produce in a single month, so a quiet month pays the base rate while a busier one pays nearly double. Because the ladder resets every month rather than ratcheting, a slow month drops you back to the bottom rung no matter what you earned before. A sale only counts if the referral clicked your link, started a trial, converted to a paid plan, and stayed past their first thirty days; anyone who was already a PandaDoc customer never qualifies. One trap worth flagging: the percentages on PandaDoc’s partner page belong to the Solutions Partner track for agencies, not to this program.

Getting paid

Everything runs through PartnerStack. Each payment sits in a lock period that starts the day the customer pays and runs to early in the second month after, which covers PandaDoc against refunds and chargebacks. The practical effect is that money arrives roughly six to nine weeks behind the sale, and PandaDoc can adjust the amount downward at any point before the lock ends. Once released, you withdraw on your own schedule in dollars or another currency PartnerStack supports.

The rules

No bidding on PandaDoc brand terms or entering keyword auctions without written permission, and offline advertising needs approval first. Your site must be aimed at a small-and-medium-business audience, be live and properly maintained, and publish a privacy policy — sites under construction, riddled with broken links or with PandaDoc in the domain get rejected. You cannot frame the site, use pop-ups or pop-unders, cloak your URL, or offer anyone cash, rebates, points or any other incentive to sign up through your link. FTC disclosure is mandatory on every page or post carrying a link, placed before the link and in the same medium as the claim. PandaDoc employees and their families are barred. Either side can end the arrangement on a single day’s notice.
