What it is
Printify is a print-on-demand marketplace that connects sellers to a network of independent printing partners. Sellers upload designs, list products through channels like Etsy, Shopify or TikTok Shop, and a partner prints and ships each order as it comes in. The platform is free to use, with paid tiers that lower product costs.
The deal
The cut is calculated on product cost only, so shipping and other charges are excluded, and refunded or returned orders are stripped out before commission is worked out. What makes this worth more than a single-digit rate suggests is that it pays on your referral’s order volume for a full year rather than on a one-off signup, so a seller who scales generates commission on every order they place. The clock starts when they sign up, though, not when they make their first sale, so a merchant who takes months to get a store running burns part of the window before producing anything. There is no cap on how many people you refer.
Getting paid
Payouts go out at the start of each month to PayPal, which is the only method offered. Printify publishes no minimum balance and no separate holding period, but commission is only counted on orders that were not refunded or returned, so a burst of returns will pull earnings back down. If your account is terminated for spamming or fraud, any pending balance is not paid out.
The rules
Coupon sites are listed as unsuitable for the program. You cannot put Printify or a misspelling of it in your domain name, build a site that resembles Printify’s, or create social media groups or dedicated pages set up to publicize Printify offers. Running pay-per-click ads solely on Printify brand terms and sending that traffic straight through counts as trademark violation and gets you banned, possibly on the first occurrence and without warning; routing visitors through your own site first is the stated way to stay compliant. Spam, unsolicited commercial email and newsgroup cross-posting are grounds for termination with pending commission withheld, as are toolbars, pop-unders, shopping assistants and anything else that overwrites tracking cookies. Sites promoting explicit material, violence, discrimination or illegal activity are rejected. Note that Printify’s terms describe applications as auto-approved while its affiliate page says applications are reviewed within two working days.
