What it is

Zendesk sells customer service software: ticketing, help centre, live chat and AI agents. It is a mid-market and enterprise purchase, so referred deals tend to be large and slow to close.

The deal

Commission runs for the customer’s first year only, so the value of a referral is capped at twelve months of their spend. On enterprise seat counts that can still be worth more than a lifetime deal on a cheap tool, which is the trade here. Zendesk says top affiliates can earn more but publishes no higher rates or thresholds, so anything above the base rate is negotiated rather than posted. The 30-day cookie restarts each time the same person clicks your link. There is no cap on how many customers you can refer.

Getting paid

Earnings are totalled monthly and become withdrawable the following month, paid out of PartnerStack by PayPal or Stripe, with alternatives in regions PayPal does not serve. Zendesk publishes no minimum balance and no refund hold; those sit in your PartnerStack account terms rather than in the program page.

The rules

Existing Zendesk partners, resellers and consultants are not accepted, and Zendesk employees and their immediate families are barred from joining. Bidding on Zendesk trademarks for search or content campaigns on any network forfeits at least the previous 30 days of commission, and Zendesk reserves the right to cut your rate to zero without notice. Coupon and deal sites are called out specifically: a conversion rate above 25% can get you moved to a lower rate than standard, and coupon affiliates earn nothing on a sale without a valid code attached. Affiliates are also subject to sanctions and compliance screening.
