Temu is a cross-border marketplace run by PDD Holdings, selling low-cost goods shipped largely direct from Chinese suppliers.

What it is

Temu is a cross-border marketplace run by PDD Holdings, selling low-cost goods shipped largely direct from Chinese suppliers. It covers most consumer categories, with clothing, home goods and small electronics making up the bulk of it. The affiliate program is run in-house and is aimed at people who share deals in groups, forums and coupon sites.

The deal

There are three separate ways to earn and they stack: a percentage of what a referred new user spends, a flat reward when someone installs the app through your link, and a bonus for recruiting another affiliate, which is what makes this a two-tier program. Temu publishes no rate card — the percentage moves with product, market and campaign, and the headline figure is a ceiling rather than a typical rate. Two hard caps do apply: no single order pays more than EUR 100 in commission, and no calendar month pays more than EUR 10,000 in total. Every flat amount is denominated in the local currency of whichever market your account sits in, so the numbers you see will not match a US listing.

Getting paid

Commission drops into a pending balance two days after the order, then waits for delivery to be confirmed before it becomes withdrawable; how long that check takes is shown per campaign rather than fixed anywhere. You pull the money yourself rather than waiting for a payout run, either as Temu store credit or as cash through PayPal, and you have to take the entire available balance in one go — partial withdrawals are refused. Traffic verification, meaning a live channel link plus a screenshot showing your referral code in place, has to be approved before any withdrawal clears, so it is worth doing early.

The rules

Temu publishes very little about promotional restrictions: no stated position on paid search or trademark bidding, though coupon and deal publishers are explicitly one of the audiences it recruits. The policy is market-specific — the German version requires you to be a natural person legally resident in Germany and over 18, and other markets set their own eligibility, rates and thresholds. Cancelled or returned orders are clawed back, and earnings only count for users who meet Temu’s definition of an eligible new user within the allowed activation window.
